About This Event

Get ready to move, groove, and have fun with Maddux Hepker in this exciting hip hop master class designed specifically for dancers ages 3-10.

This beginner-friendly class introduces young dancers to hip hop movement, musicality, rhythm, and performance skills in a positive and energetic environment. Maddux’s engaging teaching style helps dancers build confidence while learning age-appropriate choreography and movement fundamentals.

Maddux Hepker

Master Class Instructor

Maddux Hepker is a Kansas City–based dancer and choreographer specializing in hip hop, jazz funk, and commercial styles. Though he began dancing at a young age, Maddux began seriously training just six years ago and quickly made his mark, everything from rocking it at KC Fashion Week, To keeping the energy high at March Madness and The Worlds of Fun stage. Currently dancing and choreographing professionally throughout the city, his movement is known for its musicality, patience, and feel-good energy. His work reflects a deep love for movement, music, and community.

Whether he’s teaching or training, Maddux brings a vibe that’s all about growth, groove, and good times.

By registering for this event, I (parent/guardian or adult participant) acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I release Catalyst Dance Company, its owners, instructors, and staff from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation in this event.

2. PHOTO RELEASE: I grant Catalyst Dance Company permission to photograph and/or video my dancer and use these images for promotional purposes including social media and website.

3. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION: In case of emergency, I authorize Catalyst Dance Company staff to seek medical treatment for my dancer if I cannot be reached.

4. CODE OF CONDUCT: I agree that my dancer will follow all studio rules and instructor directions. Catalyst Dance Company reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive.

5. REFUND POLICY: Registrations are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Catalyst Dance Company. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
