2026–2027 Season

Competition TEAM

Catalyst Dance Company was built to create an environment where dancers can grow through structured training, strong mentorship, and intentional development. Our competition program is designed for dancers who want to train seriously while maintaining a healthy, positive, and sustainable experience.

Train Smarter  ·  Grow Faster  ·  Dance Better  ·  Ignite the Stage

Our Philosophy

What Makes Catalyst Different

At Catalyst, we are intentional about how dancers train, how teams are structured, and how the season is designed. This allows dancers to improve faster while still enjoying the process.

We are not building a studio that prioritizes trophies over people. We are building something that develops strong, confident dancers — and keeps them in this sport for the long run.

Training Should Be Focused
Every class has purpose. Every rehearsal has direction. No wasted time, no filler.
Structure Should Be Clear
Dancers and families always know what to expect — no surprises, no guesswork.
Growth Should Be Earned
Sustainable development over short-term results. We build dancers who last.
Culture Comes First
A team that respects each other trains harder, performs better, and lasts longer.

What We Ask

Competition Expectations

Consistency plays a major role in both individual growth and overall team success. Competitive dancers are expected to commit fully.

Weekly Training Classes
Attend all scheduled technique classes consistently. Non-negotiable — they're the foundation of everything.
Rehearsals
Participate in all team rehearsals. Absences impact the entire team — formations, timing, and performance quality depend on full attendance.
Competition Weekends
Be present and prepared for all competition events. Call times and requirements communicated well in advance.
Team Performances
Represent Catalyst with professionalism and pride at all performances and showcases throughout the season.
Consistent Attendance
Missed classes cannot be made up or refunded. Tuition reflects commitment to training — not individual attendance.
Positive Team Culture
Be coachable, support teammates, and represent the studio positively — on the floor, in the studio, and on social media.

Our Community

Partnership & Culture

The best seasons happen when families, dancers, and staff are all aligned. Here's what that looks like at Catalyst.

Parent Partnership

We ask parents to be active partners in creating the best possible experience for every dancer on the team.

Communicate respectfully with staff and other families
Use direct channels for questions — not during class time
Support punctuality and preparation at home
Trust the coaching and creative process
Encourage a positive studio environment at all times
Check email and the Studio Pro app regularly for updates

Positive Culture Commitment

Catalyst is committed to maintaining a welcoming, encouraging, and professional environment.

Work hard and give full effort every class
Be coachable — take feedback and apply it
Support and encourage teammates always
Show respect to instructors and peers
Represent the studio positively on and off the floor
We ask all families to avoid
Gossip or negativity about dancers, families, or staff
Disruptive behavior in or around the studio
Negative social media activity related to the studio
