This class is designed to give dancers the opportunity to experience the training environment, work with our staff, and get a feel for what classes at Catalyst will be like during the upcoming season.
Our Dance Master Class is a unique opportunity for dancers to immerse themselves in advanced training methods and techniques. Join us to expand your skills and connect with fellow dancers in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Families are welcome to attend the Q&A session and ask any additional questions they may have about the upcoming season, classes, and Catalyst Dance Company.

Mandi Borgelt
Artistic Director
Mandi Borgelt holds a B.A. in Dance and Performing Arts from Lindenwood University and has built an impressive career as a coach, choreographer, educator, and judge. She has coached collegiate dance programs at the University of Kansas and Hawaii Pacific University and has choreographed for numerous teams across the country.
Her work with Varsity Brands and Universal Dance Association (UDA) earned her recognition as a UDA Head Instructor, Instructor of the Year, State Director, curriculum choreographer, National Dance Team Championships judge, and Performance Cheer Consultant. Mandi has also worked with artistic athletes and coaches around the world, helping develop dance programs across five continents.
In addition to her coaching and judging experience, Mandi is the creator of Alchemy G.Y.D.E., a lifestyle and mindset program designed to support artistic athletes through a holistic approach to wellness and performance.
As Artistic Director of Catalyst Dance Company, Mandi is passionate about creating a positive, challenging, and inspiring environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.
Claire Newton
Dance Instructor
Claire has been dancing for 16 years and trained at the American Academy of Dance, developing a strong passion for hip hop and tap. She was a member of both the TW Hunter Middle School Dance Team and Beech Elite Dance Team, where she spent seven years training and performing.
Claire recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Tennessee Technological University.
Her teaching experience includes instructing and assisting dancers ages 2–14 in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop, as well as teaching hip hop classes for college-aged students and choreographing routines for middle school and high school dance teams.
Claire is passionate about creating a positive, supportive, and creative environment where dancers feel encouraged to grow both technically and artistically. She is excited to share her love of dance with the next generation of performers at Catalyst Dance Company.
